Phonathon

Meet the Callers

Each semester, a group of approximately 30 students gather in Old Main to call our alumni, parents, and friends in order to secure their support of the College. Please take a few minutes to read about our callers and say “hello” when they call.

Major: Music Education (K-12)

Career Goals: Become a band director or tour with my own band from home

Activities: Ultimate Frisbee team, basketball, tennis, wind ensemble, orchestra, reading, swimming

I chose Messiah College because… of the great student atmosphere, one on one professor student relationships, the friendly people, and a recognized music program.

Some of the most memorable experiences that I have had at Messiah were… playing at coffee house, my first ultimate frisbee tournament, midnight creeking of people on their birthdays, dance parties in dorms and on the streets at midnight during exams.

I believe that giving to Messiah is important because … the College is so great in how they really seem to care about students and really have found a perfect balance of seeing the world from a God-like perspective. There are also so many opportunities to go out and explore the world. Lastly, the education is intensive, but rewarding.

The most rewarding thing about being a phonathon caller… are the people who I get to work with! Also I love talking to and getting to know our alumni.
