Meet the Callers

Each semester, a group of approximately 30 students gather in Old Main to call our alumni, parents, and friends in order to secure their support of the College. Please take a few minutes to read about our callers and say “hello” when they call.

I chose Messiah College because… of its great academic reputation, and also because of the welcoming, comfortable Christian atmosphere.

Some of the most memorable experiences that I have had at Messiah… I went on volunteer service trips for my J-term Social Work class, and I helped tutor children at Center for Champions.  I got to talk with them about fun topics but also God. It was so encouraging and a great experience.

I believe that giving to Messiah is important because … our service and mission opportunities are not only numerous, they are so uplifting and productive.  Furthermore, the community here is so unified and friendly.  Along with the great education we are given, all of these aspects are reasons for this as well.

The most rewarding thing about being a phonathon caller is… I have met some great people and had interesting conversations about people’s lives, careers, and memories that all resulted from their time at Messiah.
