Major: Communication- Public Relations concentration

Career Goals: working in development/fundraising, preferably at Messiah College. I would also like to receive my Masters in Communication.

I chose Messiah College because… I wanted to be challenged not just intellectually but emotionally and spiritually as well. Messiah College had a high academic standard and has also helped me to mature in my Christian faith.   

One of the most memorable experiences that I have had at Messiah… was having the opportunity to study abroad for a full academic year. Being able to live in Athens, Greece for 3 months and Cheltenham, England changed my world perspective and I am looking forward to a 3 week trip to Israel as well.      

I believe that giving to Messiah is important because … Messiah College provide every student with amazing opportunities for service and study abroad, as well as financial aid and scholarships. Gifts to the school have a tremendous effect on students’ ability to attend Messiah and be involved in the activities offered.     

The most rewarding thing about being a phonathon caller is… I love having conversations with alumni and parents. Hearing about their Messiah experiences has been very meaningful for me. It also allows me to express my passion and excitement for Messiah College.
