Parent Giving

campus view of the breechesMessiah College is blessed by the generosity of many parents who give above and beyond the cost of tuition and fees to advance the College's mission and make a difference in the lives of all Messiah students. Parents give to Messiah in a variety of ways-through the Messiah Annual Fund , by supporting missions and service opportunities, and by giving to help capital projects like the Larsen Student Union, which is named for parents of an alumnus.

Another special way that parents support Messiah College is through giving projects initiated by the Parents Council. The Parents Council first rallied parents around starting the Student Missions Endowment Fund, which is an endowment that provides financial assistance to needy students desiring to participate in a missions project.

The Parents Council's most current project is the Good Samaritan Fund, which is an un-endowed fund that will be used to assist students facing an unexpected financial crisis that could impact their enrollment at Messiah. Currently, parents have committed more than $20,000 to this special fund, and parents may support this initiative at any time by contacting Kristin Zummo, director of annual giving.
