Welcome to the Department of Campus Events

The members of our department serve the college in many ways. Our primary responsibility is to prepare areas for events.  We set up for events as large as Commencement and as small as simple meetings. We set up events for the students, faculty, staff, the President's Office and the Board of Trustees.

Our secondary duties, which are nearly as important as events, are the cleaning of the campus buildings. We carry out our duties over three shifts with four crews.  First Shift hours run from 7:00am to 3:45pm. Second Shift runs from 3:15pm to 11:45pm.  Third shift runs from 9:30pm to 6:00am.  We are available for most of the week at anytime during the day.  If for some reason our help would be needed and we are not available a call to Dispatch at extension 6005 will get a timely response from us.  

Our goal is to provide a clean and inviting environment that serves the educational, social and conference needs of the college.  Our duties vary from the support of school year needs to providing for up to 90 different conferences during the summer. We have the privilege and distinct opportunity to touch everybody's lives on campus either directly or indirectly.
