Why do we spray chemicals?
To minimize weeds, disease and insects. Keep campus looking it's best!

Is the Back-40 a garbage dump?
No. It's where the Grounds Department recycles organic materials. Nothing should ever be removed from this area.

Why are leaves cleaned up and especially when it's raining?
Leaves are cleaned up to prevent killing grass, clogging drains, harboring pests and to prevent injuries from slipping and falling. Rain assists in making clean up easier.

Can tennis courts, baseball fields be used?
This request needs to go through Conference Services X6009. The only public tennis courts are the ones by Creekside.

Why does Grounds remove shrubs?
They must remove when overgrown, diseased or damaged.

Who do we call to request a bonfire?
Conference Services X6009.
