Student Employment
The Federal Work/Study ProgramThere are many opportunities for a student at Messiah College to have a job on campus. Priority is given to students who have demonstrated high financial need. New (first year and transfer) students should indicate on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) that they are interested in working. A job will then be assigned to these students before they arrive on campus. Returning (current) students should talk to the supervisor in the area that they would like to work before leaving campus in the spring. The supervisors will then work with Payroll and Financial Aid to have the students they wish to hire placed in their area.
Students work an average of 10 hours per week which would allow the student to earn at least $2000 for the academic year.
Please read the Student Employment Handbook for more detailed information.
