Accessing Your GroupWise E-mail
via Your Web Browser
Many users have found it convenient to access their GroupWise account via the web. While it is not possible to do special configuration, such as forwarding and auto-reply rules via GroupWise web, much of the functionality of the regular GroupWise client software is available via this web-based interface. GroupWise WebAccess is available from any PC with a browser and Internet connection (or dial-up access via the Messiah modem pool).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Prior to using GroupWise WebAccess, it is necessary to activate the "Create a sent item to track information" setting (click here for instructions). This must be done under your GroupWise login using the regular GroupWise client software found on any of the networked PCs on campus.
1. Open your web browser and type the URL of Messiah's GroupWise web server: https://mymail.messiah.edu
2. The GroupWise login screen will load (see top of this page) and you will see two fields which require your user information and GroupWise password. Enter your normal username and GroupWise password and then click on the "Login" button...
3. You should now see your Group
Wise mailbox. You can view, delete, move, send and reply to messages as you would using your GroupWise client on your office PC.
4. To leave your GroupWise web account, click on the "door" icon near the top of the web page (circled in red in this example).
