Outlook: Import Contacts into Outlook via Outlook Web App

***NOTE: If you are the Outlook 2010 desktop client, use this tutorial instead: Importing Personal Contacts via Outlook 2010

Export Contacts from GroupWise

  1. Open GroupWise

  2. Right click on the Address book that you would like to “Export”


  3. A Save Dialog Box will open type in the name of the Address Book and save as “.CSV” file to the Desktop.

  4. Now you have exported that specific Address Book from GroupWise

 

Import Contacts into the Outlook Web App

  1. Sign in to Outlook Web App (outlook.com)

  2. Go to Contacts, and then click Import in the toolbar. Or, go to Options > My Account > Shortcuts to other things you can do, and then click Import your contacts from an existing email account

  3. Enter the path to the .csv file with your contacts, or click Browse to locate your file

  4. Click Next

  5. Wait while your contacts are imported

  6. When the import is complete, click Finish
