Laptop Support Policy

ITS will support college owned laptops from Gateway and LAM Systems. Other models purchased in the past will be supported until the end of their useful lifespan. ITS will work with employees of the college in cases where the purchase of a laptop is appropriate. The level of software and hardware support for these units will be equivalent to that provided for college owned desktop computers. Direct support will only be provided while laptops are on campus. E-mail and telephone support are available during normal college working hours when laptops are off campus.
