Select a Position:
Indicate your first, second, and third job preference from the following list: 1 being the most, and 3 the least. For all other jobs, indicate NI for not interested or Pos for Possibly. Please fill in all spaces. Depending on the work load, any given position may include some duties found in other positions.
Information:
All summer positions are for 40 hours per week with a maximum of 560-600 hours, depending on the length of the summer. Summer positions include room and board benefits if you live on campus (value=$160 per week) or include $1.00 per hour more if you live off campus with your parents. During the school year, positions normally require an average of ten hours per week with a maximum of 300 hours for the entire academic year.
For the following Technical Assistant positions you will work under the close supervision of an ITS staff person. These positions require special skills and most required the ability to open computers and handle system components and boards.

PC Support:
Assist Desktop Support Specialists with their duties of supporting the office environment. You will help install computers, peripherals and software in employee offices under strict supervision. You will be working with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, networking, CDROM drives, speakers, sound cards, Windows98 (and above), scanners, and other various hardware and software components.

Service and Repair:
Assist the Hardware Manager with diagnosing and replacing faulty components (monitors, mice, printers, video cards, etc.). Assist with shipping and receiving duties. Assist with inventory. You should have a good working knowledge of computer hardware components. You will need to be physically able to lift and handle heavy monitors (50 pounds).
