Moves/Adds/Changes
This topic refers to administrative phones. (Student phones are assigned the same type of phone, standard features, and allocated one per traditional residence room or one per apartment.)
1. Create a problem ticket by clicking on the "Create an ITS Service Request" via the ITS Information channel in MCSquare.
OR
2. Send an email service request to Chris Culbert.
Moves, adds or changes “examples” are listed below:
• Moving your office from one location to another
• Adding extensions onto your phone; whether for status or for ringing
• Changing system forwarding; Ring No Answer, Busy Condition to PhoneMail or another extension.
• Adding, changing Com Groups, Pick Groups, Hunt Groups
• Need an analog line for a fax machine or modem
• Setting up a conference where a two-way speaker phone is desired.
• The Display name that gets transmitted to phones with visual screens
• Some phones are by default restricted to on campus or local calling only. If there is a need to temporarily change or permanently change to long distance access
