M. Elaine Henderson
Elaine Henderson is a member of the music faculty at Messiah College, where she teaches voice and vocal pedagogy, and directs the Messiah College Jazz Singers. A graduate of Mars Hill College and the Indiana University School of Music, her singing engagements have included solo appearances with community orchestras, oratorio and choral societies, and lead roles with the Harrisburg Opera Association. An active recitalist, she performs a broad range of repertoire from art song to musical theatre and jazz classics. She has served as vocal coach for Theatre Harrisburg and co-music director for Theatre Messiah. She is an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and is a past officer of Pennsylvania's Allegheny Mountain Chapter of NATS.
