Photos of the Inauguration Week Inauguration Chapel October 13, 2005 - 9:30 a.m. - Brubaker Auditorium On the day before the inauguration ceremony, the Messiah College community worshipped and celebrated together at the Inauguration Chapel service, coordinated by the Department of College Ministries. A special time of joyous and energetic music, renewal and reflection, the chapel featured music by Messiah’s JazzONE and the United Voices of Praise gospel choir, and an inspiring message by the Rev. Breon Wells, student conductor, United Voices of Praise Messiah's gospel choir, United Voices of Praise Doug Curry, Messiah's Minister of Worship, led the service. Eldon Fry, Messiah's College pastor, introduced Rev. Baxter. President Phipps attended the service with the Board of Trustees, employees, students and other inaugural guests. Rev. Nathan Baxter preached on the inaugural theme, "Created and Called for Community." Student leaders led a prayer for the new president.
