Student and employee volunteers made more than 30 topiaries by hand from Japanese paper lanterns, plastic piping and Christmas tree lights. Students sewed table overlays and drapery banners which were used throughout the room. Nathan Martin '99 created and directed the set design for the ball. Professional set pieces were used to turn Hitchcock into a palace courtyard.
