Lori Myers is an award-winning freelance writer whose nonfiction and fiction
has appeared in over 40 national and regional publications. She is a regular
contributor to such area magazines as "Central PA Magazine", "Susquehanna
Style Magazine", "Central Penn Business Journal", and "BusinessWoman" where
she writes a monthly column. She has also written for the Lancaster Literary
Guild's publication "Rapportage." Her subjects have ranged from the arts and
healthcare, to home decor and travel. She was a contributor to the "Stage
Directions Guide to Directing" and her essay on her beloved Westie will
appear in the upcoming "Cup of Comfort for Dog Lovers" in August 2007.
Lori is the recipient of the Women in Communications Award and the West
Virginia Tourism Award for Best Print Article. She is a co-founder of the
Central Pennsylvania Writers' Consortium and teaches writing workshops at
various venues across the region including Elizabethtown College and Hershey
Public Library. Her article about Holocaust survivors is a permanent part of
the archives at the United States Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.
