Heidi Lee
Heidi joined the Messiah community in January 2007, allowing her to complete a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Notre Dame. She earned a B.A. in English and Spanish from Houghton College, an M.A. in English from the Pennsylvania State University, and a Ph.D. in English from the University of
Notre Dame. In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking and tatting, and she is also a harpist. While Heidi admits that she is not a very good cook, she likes to read cookbooks and try unusual recipes. She has a book in progress with a working title of "Food and Faith in Early American Literature." She and her husband Mike have a daughter, Lydia, and live in Mechanicsburg.

Valerie A. Lemmon
Valerie received her B.A. in psychology from Gettysburg College, her M.S. in clinical psychology from Millersville University, and her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has worked in the human services field for over 20 years, emphasizing cognitive-behavior therapy. Valerie is currently a licensed psychologist at Riverside Associates, P.C. in Harrisburg and she provides professional workshops for Riverside Professional Development. She has been an adjunct instructor at Messiah College in the psychology department since 2005, and she considers it a privilege to join the department full-time this year. She lives in Paxtang with her husband, three Shetland Sheepdogs, and one guinea pig. In addition to her interest in psychology, she enjoys playing the violin, singing, biking, and reading.

Heidi Lutz
Heidi joins the nursing faculty full-time after having taught as an adjunct clinical instructor of community health in Messiah's nursing department last spring. She is a graduate of Lancaster Hospital School of Nursing, Pennsylvania State University, Widener University (where she completed a master's degree in nursing), and she is presently a Doctor of Nursing Science Candidate at Widener University. She has specialized nursing experience in critical cardiac care, long-term care and surgical and pediatric critical care. Heidi lives in Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Mike, and their four sons: Zachary (10), Zane (6), Zadyn (4), and Zavier (2). In her spare time she likes hiking, walking, reading, drawing, and spending time with her family.
