The Orvieto Duomo dwarfs the rest of the city. This main cathedral is the most memorable landmark and is famous within Italy for the fresco cycles inside. Some students attended mass here and studied the facade for examples of stone-carving techniques. Students also studied how
the indoor fresco exemplify Renaissance representations of the end of the world.
