A Heavenly Moment

"A Heavenly Moment"

The Miracle Show at Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

My first husband, David Mull, went to be with his Lord on 8/6/02 after a 6-month battle with leukemia, and my husband’s first wife went to be with her Lord on 12/27/03 after battling pneumonia and muscular dystrophy.  The show’s name, “The Miracle,” so beautifully describes our new family.  It was truly a miracle how God brought our two lonely hearts together and made us into a new family on August 14, 2004, that God could use to honor and glorify His name. Pictured here with cast members from the show are Debra (Peters) Reich ' 79, husband Darvin, and children, Krista and Jonathan Mull.

This is a photo of my soon to be adopted son Izayah William! He was "free at the beach" and loved every minute of chasing waves, runnning from them, falling in the water and saying over and over, "here it [the wave] comes!" It was a blast. I'm also adopting his older brother, Stephen Jonathan (4). Izayah is 2. It's been such an amazing journey—they bring so much joy to me!

We spent a weekend camping at Blue Rocks, about 90 minutes north of Harrisburg. Our son loves trains so when we heard about the WK&S Railroad that was nearby, it seemed like a natural excursion for us to take.

The WK&S Railroad (Wannamaker, Kempton & Southern Line) offer rides on their vintage trains powered by steam or diesel locomotives. We rode on a steam train and got the thrill of riding in the caboose. It was definitely a thrill for our son...and the rest of us thought it was pretty cool too!
