A little about the trip: My parents, two younger brothers, aunt and
grandmother toured Banff, Jasper, and Lake Louise National Parks in the
Canadian Rockies with Tauck Tours. We did some hiking and saw elk, mountain
goats, and bears up close. We got to walk on glaciers and even scoop up and
drink the crystal clear glacial water that was flowing over the glacier. One
of the highlights of the trip was going whitewater rafting in a glacial fed
river. Although it was ice cold, we still had a blast.
After graduating in 2007 with a degree in athletic training, I worked for a
physical therapy clinic in Gettysburg as a certified athletic trainer. In
2008, I started physician assistant school at Drexel University in Philly. I
have finished the first year of classes and am currently doing my first
clinical rotation in Surgery at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. I
have 15 months of clinicals ahead of me before graduating with a master's
degree in health sciences. |
