Oven BBQ Chicken
3-4 pounds chicken pieces
In a large frypan, fry in small amounts of oil until brown. Drain off fat; reserve. Place chicken pieces in 9 X 13- inch baking dish.
1/3 cup onion (chopped)
In frypan, saute in reserved fat, until tender.
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup vinegar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Stir in and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Pour over chicken. Bake at 350F until chicken is no longer pink, 45-60 minutes, basting occasionally. |
