Associate Professor of Health and Human Performance
When we talk about institutional fit at Messiah, there may be no better example of that concept than Barbara Burwell, associate professor of health and human performance. A passionate teacher, she quickly conveys to students that she takes ‘education toward wholeness’ seriously. Her example has inspired numerous health and human performance majors over the last two decades.
Over the years, Barb has served in several capacities, including assistant athletic director, department chair, and director of academic advising.
