Debra J. Sauders
Director of Print and Web Communications
Deb joined Messiah College in 2002 to provide strategic leadership to the Office of Publications and The Bridge magazine. In July 2007 she became the Director of Print and Web Communications, as well as Assistant Director of Marketing for the newly created Office of Marketing and Public Relations. She is an occasional contributor of articles and photography to The Bridge magazine. She also serves on the College’s Integrated Marketing, Visual Identity, Campaign Communications, and National Visibility task forces and manages the trademarks for Messiah’s institutional marks. Deb maintains professional memberships in the College and University Public Relations Association of Pennsylvania (CUPRAP); and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
Prior to coming to Messiah, Deb worked for many years as both a professional and freelance photographer. She later spent 11 years in advertising, graphic design, and special project and publication development for the marketing department of the Lancaster Newspapers. She graduated magna cum laude from Millersville University with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a marketing concentration and a minor in art. She later earned a master's degree in business administration (MBA) with an emphasis in technology from West Chester University.
