Françoise, a nurse and SIM missionary at Handicapés en Avant, visits a young boy at his compound during one of her weekly trips into the bush. Françoise demonstrates by her concern for her patients that they have dignity as human beings, too. Often neglected due to their isolation and immobility, the children respond positively by achieving a higher level of independence.
