New educators enrich classrooms with decades of collective experience
This fall, Messiah College welcomed 19 new faculty and cocurriculur staff to its Community of Educators. Experts in a wide range of subjects, these new members of the campus community also serve as residence directors, curriculum coordinators, institutional researchers, and include a new dean for the School of Education and Social Sciences. They lead organizations such as the Agapé Center and the Epicenter and have received awards for innovative research and have earned a total of 54 degrees.
Hailing from four countries and 11 states, these educators bring diverse experience and a strong sense of community engagement to their new positions at the College. They serve their communities as members of their church boards and on disaster relief teams; they organize mission trips for youth and continue to teach students ranging from preschool to high school outside Messiah’s campus.
