From the family of Jason Norris:
To all of you at Messiah:
We want to express our appreciation for the prayers, cards, support, and loving comfort that has been shown to us since Jason’s accident. The cards that we received contained such beautiful, kind thoughts, and we thank you for taking the time to send them. It is very clear to us that during his time at Messiah, Jason was in the midst of the kind of loving people that Christ calls us all to be.
We stand in awe of God. We praise him, love him and give thanks to him in all things. Jason always belonged to God, and we thank God for sharing Jason with us. We want you all to know that through your prayers and ours, our family is receiving comfort from God above; whose Holy Spirit fills our home, hearts, and minds with love, joy, and peace.
There is a time for every purpose under Heaven. The time of missing Jason and longing to see his smiling face may never end, but the time of mourning his loss must someday give way to the joy of his victory in Christ. He fought the good fight, he finished the race and he has heard from the lips of his Savior, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Jason sees the shining face of Jesus everyday.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God” (2 Corinthians 1:3–4).
Thank you again.
