Hailing from Brockway, PA, Ashley joined the Messiah team as an RD and the Coordinator of the Upperclass Experience in 2008. She transitioned to Messiah's Harrisburg Housing during the summer of 2011 and is now serving as the Assistant Director of Special Interest Housing and oversees the students living in Harrisburg and the special interest houses. An alumnus of Messiah, she loves the institution's values, the ever-engaging students, and the campus community. Shortly after graduating from Messiah with a BA in Communication, Ashley worked as an RD and on her Masters in Counseling at Shippensburg University. She focused in College Student Personnel and particularly enjoyed identity development theory, completing a research thesis on the sophomore experience in 2009.
