Residence Life
The Residence Life staff has selected and trained residence hall personnel to help maximize the potential of the residential experience. Through providing leadership experiences, thought-provoking programs and discussions, social activities, personal counseling, and other activities, the residence hall staff helps the College achieve its goal of educating the whole person.
The Residence Life staff consists of the following positions:
The Associate Dean of Students/Residence Life provides vision and leadership to the residential and housing initiatives and provides leadership for judicial affairs.
The Assistant to the Associate Dean of Students/Residence Life provides vision and leadership to residential initiatives at the College and supervises the residence life.
The Director of Residence Life is responsible for residential initiatives and programs and residence life staff training and supervision.
The Director of Housing manages all aspects involving the logistics of assigning rooms and apartments.
The Residence Directors (RDs) are full-time professionals dedicated to higher education, professional excellence, and ministry to students. They provide counsel, discipline, and direction to students living in residence halls.
Apartment Residence Assistants (ARDs), Senior Resident Assistants (SRAs) and Resident Assistants (RAs) are peer educators who assist their fellow students and serve as community builders and catalysts for student activities. It is their intent to help resident students adjust to living in a college environment and to aid students in achieving their personal and educational goals. They are selected because of their desire and ability to serve their fellow students.
