Shopping Shuttle & Holiday Shuttle Services

 

The Shopping Shuttle:

 

The Office of Student Involvement & Leadership Programs (SILP) sponsors a free Shopping Shuttle ride to the Silver Spring Commons shopping center, featuring Wegman's and Target on several Sunday afternoons (see 2011-12 schedule below). The 7-passenger van departs from the ECC circle promptly at 4pm and returns to campus at 6:30pm. Since space is limited, you need to reserve a spot by signing up for that week's shuttle at the SILP office in Larsen Student Union. Spots are reserved on a first come first served basis.

There are opportunities to also be a shuttle driver. Contact SILP for more details.

*If there are less than 2 shoppers signed up on a given week that shuttle may be cancelled due to low participation.

 

 

Break Shuttle/Transportation:

 

The Office of Student Involvement & Leadership Programs (SILP) offers free shuttle transportation to the Harrisburg Transportation Center  (Amtrak, Greyhound Lines, Capitol Trailways, Fullington Trailways, Susquehanna Trailways, Capital Area Transit), the Harrisburg International Airport and the Harrisburg MegaBus lot.  This Shuttle occurs at the following breaks:  Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring and Easter Breaks. Students must sign-up for the shuttle to reserve a spot. Spots are reserved on a first come first served basis. Mass emails will be sent out to students several weeks prior to each break regarding sign-ups.

 

The shuttle leaves the ECC circle from campus. Times TBD based on students' needs.  Contact the SILP office with any questions.

Rides coming back to campus on Mon 1/2 and Tue 1/3

 

Spring Break 2012:

Rides leaving Messiah campus on Thur 3/8, Fri 3/9, Sat 3/10

Rides coming back to campus on Sat 3/17 and Sun 3/18

 

Easter Break 2012:
