2014 Spring Break Wilderness Trips
LIVE OUTSIDE: CAN YOU SURVIVE?
Backpacking the Foothills Trail, NC
Hey everyone, have you thought about spending your spring break outside?
Think you could survive it?
Come hike the Foothills trail in North Carolina over spring break and put yourself to the test. You will spend the week hiking through the beautiful foothills of North Carolina climbing ridge lines, descending into gorges, viewing waterfalls, learning survival skills and learning more about your relationship with Christ. The Foothills trail offers various difficulties of terrain from steep hill climbs, flat ridge lines to winding switchbacks down mountains.
You will have the opportunity to learn various skills from fire building, shelter building, cooking using multiple methods, plant identifying, and much more.
This trip will also challenge you to think outside the box as we look at how to “survive” as Christians in this day and age. You will have the opportunity to learn from your peers about faith as well as leadership and the chance to encourage one another.
So sign up now for this trip, you will not regret it.
(This cost includes gear rental, food and transportation for the duration of the trip.)
