LITTLE SIBS WEEKEND 2008
Dear Little Sibs,
We are excited to invite you to Little Sibs Weekend 2008 on February 15-17, and look forward to welcoming you on campus. We have planned a weekend full of fun activities and opportunities to experience college life. We’ve built in plenty of free time for siblings to spend together. In addition, several of our winter sports teams have home contests during the weekend. Some of the events have a minimal cost for attending. See the schedule for complete details.
Housing:
Please read this section carefully, as changes have been made this year.
Our new Campus Visitor Policy requires all siblings staying over night to bring a signed parent/guardian liability release and medical permission form to campus and turn in to either our Dispatch Office or the Office of Student Programs. This form can be printed off here.
Only children who are related to a student may stay overnight in College-owned housing, and only if he/she meet all of the following conditions:
1) is 6 years of age or older
2) is invited to do so by the host student
3) is the same gender as the host student
4) is actually under the supervision of the student family member
5) has provided a signed parent/guardian liability release and medical permission form to the Dispatch Office or the Office of Student Programs.
Children who are related to a student, but are not the same gender as that student can only stay on campus overnight if they are 15 years of age or older, stay in the room of a friend of their sibling who is of the same gender as they are, and provide the signed parent/guardian liability release and medical permission form to the Dispatch Office or the Office of Student Programs.
What to Bring:
Sleeping bag and pillow, toiletries, clothes for sports and church, bathing suit and towel, money for meals and activities, ice skates (if you have your own), and sleds (if there's snow).
Meals:
Lottie Nelson Dining Hall is open daily from 7:00am-7:30pm. Students may use their ID cards for meals. Students may use guest meals for their little sib, or little sibs can pay at the door: $5.45-$10.75 (ages 4-12 are $2.85-$6.60).
