The Student Involvement & Leadership Programs Department is committed to challenging students to explore and develop their leadership potential, to learn through experiences and to shape campus culture in order to fulfill the educational mission of Messiah College.

Trisha Gudeman is the Interim Director of Student Involvement & Leadership Programs. She advises the Student Government Association, and provides support to numerous student organization leaders. She helps in coordinating Welcome Week and the Orientation Leader Program as well as Winter Orientation. She also coordinates campus-wide leadership development opportunities including the Leadership Summits and Leadership Clusters.

Heather J. Greer is the Director of Rec Sports and head Women's Lacrosse Coach. She is grateful to work with such an amazing student staff who run the day to day details of Rec Sports. Greer has her undergraduate degree from Messiah College ('02) and her Masters degree in Sport Leadership/Athletic Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University ('05). |

Dave Tanis
(M.A.) is the Director of Adventure Programs and adjunct instructor in the Health and Human Performance department. Dave’s position brings the curricular and co-curricular sides of campus together; as an instructor he teaches courses in the adventure education major. As Director of Adventure Programs he provides oversight to all adventure programming on campus and advises the outdoors club.
Dave is passionate about student learning and loves utilizing adventure activities as a medium for growth and development. He is currently finishing a D.Ed degree and is researching the role of play and playfulness in adult learning.

Wendell Witter directs adventure-based leadership and team-building experiences for Messiah's campus through a partnership with the CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) at The Loft. He has a passion for adventure education and investing in the lives of students to build them up as godly leaders. He holds an M.A. from Wheaton College in Educational Ministries and has worked in experiential education for over 10 years. He currently lives on Messiah College's campus with his wife Teri and their four children. Wendell enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, especially rock climbing and canoeing.

Sheryl Ezbiansky is the Administrative Assistant to the Office of Student Involvement & Leadership Programs and Programming Coordinator for Larsen Student Union . Sheryl has been with Messiah College in several roles since 2004 and has an undergraduation degree in Communications from Shippensburg University. |
