All students, new and transfer, who were awarded their first Stafford Loan as part of their financial aid package for this fall, are required by the U.S. Department of Education to view a short video prior to receiving the loan. If you have done this on-line prior to your arrival, or if you have borrowed under the Stafford Loan program in the past and completed entrance counseling at that time, you do not have to attend; however, if you have not completed this yet, this is your last group opportunity to do so. You can still complete the counseling on the Web using the instructions that were sent to you earlier in the summer or you can come to the Financial Aid Office on an individual basis to complete the counseling.
