Friendship Family Program

Friendship Family Program

Thank you for your interest in our new Friendship Family Program. The Friendship Family Program is to provide a mutually beneficial friendship between Messiah College’s international and third culture students and individuals or families from the Messiah and surrounding Christian community.

International Student Programs will match participating families with 1 or 2 of our new or returning students. During the school year our office will organize a few events on campus where everyone can have an opportunity to interact with each other. The intention is that the friendship families will invite the student(s) to join them for meals or outings when possible.  This is not a host family program, but the hope is that most of the families will also be able to offer housing over the Christmas or Spring break, if needed.

Below are links to the applications for both families and students who would like to participate in the Friendship Family Program. These help us to better match families and students based on their interests and experiences. All new incoming students are requested to fill out a form unless they already have a person or family in the Grantham, PA area who will be their “family” during their school years. I look forward to receiving your forms and visiting with you further. Please call or email me with any further questions about the program.

With anticipation,
