- Opening Day at Mount Snow, VT
- November 10th, 2007
- If conditions permit, Mount Snow's tentative opening date is already set for November 10th, 2007. We will be travelling to Tim Benson's house in New Paltz, NY, and then travelling up to Vermont early in the morning to arrive there for first tracks of the season. Mount Snow is planning on having seven runs open this weekend. We will be coming back to school Saturday night.
- The cost for this trip will be extremely minimal, as a day pass will probably be only about $25.
- A weekend at Stratton, VT
- November 30th-December 2nd
- Deposit Due Monday, Nov 12.
- November 30 at around 4pm we will be leaving to embark on a trip to Stratton Mountain. This isa a phenominal deal, which for $87 dollars includes 2 nights lodging and 2 days lift tickets. We will be staying overnight Friday and Saturday, and skiing Saturday and Sunday. Please make checks out the "Messiah Ski Club" with Stratton in the memo box or send cash to Brian Muller via campus mail at Box 5858. or hand delivered. His room number is Bittner 107. We need drivers to make this trip possible, and you will be reimbursed fully for gas. Let us know if you can drive.
- Winter Break Trip to Tremblant, QC
- I am not too sure the logistics of this trip as of yet, however the trip will take place December 21-24. We will have all gone home by then, so we will have to meet at a central location, which may be my house in New Jersey right at the intersection of 78 and 287. - J-Term trip to Winter Park, CO
- January 10- February 3, 2008
- Depsit Due Wednesday, Nov 14.
- This J-term break we will be having a trip out to Colorado for 4 days of epic skiing at Winter Park Resort . The resort is known for its more than 60 mogul runs, tree skiing, and long runs. We will be staying at the Rocky Mountain Inn and Hostel near the resort. If you have any other questions please e-mail us or talk to an officer.
- Please make checks out to 'Messiah College Ski Club' for $550 (includes transportation, lodging, and lift tickets)and write 'Winter Park' on the memo line. Please send the checks to Joe Iacono (Box # 5629).
- Spring Break trip to Vermont
- Although we haven't done a spring break trip in the past, I am very interested in getting one going. This trip is also to be determined, however I would love for us to go somewhere like Stowe or Jay Peak, Vermont. The length and departure/arrival dates of the trip are still under thought, and any thoughts considering this will be considered. I know there are many missions trips that are over spring break, however this is the prime time for skiing, so hopefully some sort of a trip can be arranged.
