My wife, Nancy, has been familiar with Messiah College all through her life which is almost sixty years now. I have known professors and workers at the school for about 25 years, ever since I came to this area. Messiah has always been a very bright spot in this area and one which we appreciate greatly. We have watched Messiah grow from just a few buildings to a thriving metropolis all on its own. We have two sons, Michael and Joseph Barcelona, attending there now and both of them enjoy the campus and the associations they have developed there.

Michael, a music major, will be graduating soon this year and has
expressed to us many times how he feels what he has received while there has been truly outstanding. He loves his association with his professors (comes home excited many times), the high standards that are set, the encouragement and personal help that is provided to reach them, and, most importantly, an environment that is conducive to Christian principles and ideals.

We feel Messiah will grow even beyond the outstanding reputation it presently enjoys and want to thank every worker, every administrator, and every professor for making this possible for our two sons. Our prayer is that it will share truly biblically-based policies and positions in its outreach and all it imparts to its students.
