Parent Council Executive Officers
Shana Wolfe, of Greencastle, PA, has been named chair of the Parent Council for 2010-2011. Her daughter Erin, a broadcasting major, graduated in 2007. Her son Matthew will graduate in 2011. Shana is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg, PA. She attends First United Methodist Church in Greencastle and has served on the Parent Council for eight years.
The Parent Council serves fellow Messiah parents and guardians, advises the College on matters of interest to parents, and helps advance the mission of Messiah College. Jeff Park, of Dillsburg, PA, is the assistant chair. He graduated from Messiah College in 1987 with a bachelors degree in Family Studies. He married his wife, Sharon, in 1983. Sharon teaches at Silver Spring Elementary School. Their daughter Jori graduated in 2009 and is now a reading teacher. Jenna, an Elementary/Special Ed major, will graduate in 2012. Jeff is the Resource/Placement Coordinator with Catholic Charities Adoption & Foster Care in Harrisburg. The Parks attend the Cumberland Valley Brethren in Christ Church and have served on the Parent Council for three years.
