Prayer and praise Prayer requests • The selection process going on right now for student Residence Life staff and Life Group staff • The first-year students being apprenticed into leadership in the Worship Community, a co-curricular group within campus ministries • Ongoing discussions about spiritual formation on campus • Students who are struggling with various emotional, intellectual, and theological issues • Students who are grieving the death of a parent or who have a parent with a life-threatening illness • Students who are struggling with finances and/or working long hours to help pay for school • Seniors as they seek direction after graduation • Decisions being made about the direction and shape of the Worship Community on campus • Summer mission teams as they prepare and raise funding for their trips Praise items • For so many students who are being faithful and proactive in engaging tough questions about God and the world • Students who attended the Jubilee Conference, an event focused on connecting faith and vocation • The student-led International Rural Development Conference, “Finding Our Role in a Two-Thirds World,” which encouraged students to consider how to use their individual skills to make a difference in the world |
