Praise items
• Praise God that at least 80 students reached out in missions and service over the summer.
• Praise God that nine students have committed to living in an off-campus house focused on exploring spiritual formation.

Prayer items
• Pray for new Messiah students and their families as they prepare for the college experience.
• Pray for new residence life staff (professional staff and students). Especially remember the staff who will be living and working in the new first-year student residence halls.
• Pray for new college employees and their families as they move and adjust to living in a new place.
• Pray for Life Group Coordinators and interns as they facilitate intentional discipleship in the residence halls.
• Pray for student chaplains as they reach out to their peers and plan programs to respond to the spiritual needs of fellow students.
• Pray for students holding leadership positions as they set goals and plan for the academic year. Pray that the teams will work well together, encourage one another, and that the students will grow in their leadership skills.
• Pray for students studying abroad this fall.
• Pray that students involved in the worship community would grow in their understanding of worship and worship leadership.
• Pray for the new Elective Chapel worship leaders and their teams.
