General Education

Students can meet general education requirements using a combination of Messiah College Philadelphia Campus and Temple University courses.

Messiah College Courses
Students may choose from four general education courses offered at MCPC. All students are required to take at least one 3-credit course taught by a Messiah College Philadelphia Campus instructor.

Temple University Partnership Courses
Messiah College students can meet other general education requirements at Temple University. The Temple University courses listed in the links below are preapproved by the Messiah College Registrar to meet specific requirements. Lists for Non-Western and Social Science requirements are not yet complete, but students may take Temple University courses to fulfill these requirements with the approval of the Registrar.
