Internship Semester Program
City, Vocation and Christian Faith

• Examine the complexities of contemporary city life while you complete an applied career-related internship experience, integrating your Christian faith with the practice of your discipline
• Live and work in one of our nation's oldest and most historic cities as you complete this semester-long opportunity for junior and senior students
• Participate in a unique Christian residential learning community that engages the city as text and context for learning, living, and serving
• Gain a better understanding of the professional work environment through an internship experience
• Access resources and facilities at Temple University through Messiah's partnership with that institution

Program Requirements

Internship (9 or 10 credits)	Spend 35 or 40 hours per week at the internship site and participate in a monthly class
One or Two Messiah College-Philadelphia Campus Courses (3-6 credits)	Choose from: URB 238 Bible Stewardship and the City URB 301 World View Persepctives of City Life URB Eco-Urban Footprints in Postmetropolis Life URB 319 Practical Theology of the Urban Church

Program Option: Students may also add a one-credit urban cross-cultural course,URB 260 2049 and the Meaning of America, to the semester program
