David Ayres, M.Div

Campus Administrator

 

David joined the Messiah College Philadelphia Campus team as Campus Administrator in July 2004. He serves the College part time, providing oversight for the facilities and business operations of the campus.


David is also a pastor in the Reformed Episcopal Church (REC) and has served in various ministerial capacities in Philadelphia churches over the past eighteen years. He currently serves as Rector of St. Luke's & Bishop Hoffman Memorial REC in the Mayfair section of the city.


Prior to joining Messiah, David provided five years administrative assistance in the financial services industry, including two years as Executive Assistant in the Audit Department of Deloitte & Touche, LLP, and nearly three years as Executive Assistant to the CEO and executive team of Roxborough Manayunk Bank (RMB). In his last six months at RMB, prior to a bank merger, David served as Director of Training & Development.


David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Covenant College, Lookout Mountain, Georgia. He earned his Master of Divinity degree at the Reformed Episcopal Seminary in Philadelphia (since relocated to Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.)


David lives in the Roxborough section of the city with his fourteen-year old son, Joseph, who attends Christ Academy, a classical Christian school in Collingdale, Pennsylvania. David enjoys reading, creative writing and walking in Fairmount Park.
