Andrew Coval

Andy Coval began teaching the Worldview class at the Philadelphia Campus in January 2009, and in July 2010, he began additional work as the facilities manager. He completed his Bachelor's Degree in philosophy from Emory University and his Master's Degree in theology from Saint John's University. Additionally, he spent semesters studying in Bolivia and Italy, as well as instructing a summer abroad program in Bolivia.

Andy also has deep ties to the Temple campus and North Philadelphia - his grandfather graduated from Temple in the 1930's and his father graduated from Temple in the 1960's. Andy grew up watching countless Temple basketball games at McGonigle Hall and attending church services at Berean Presbyterian Church (across the street). After spending two years as a Benedictine monk in Minnesota, he returned to Philadelphia in 2006. He currently lives in North Philadelphia at an old convent re-named St Paul's House, which seeks to be a place of Christian prayer, hospitality, and service in the city.
