Spiritual Life in Philadelphia Worship Service

Spiritual formation for Christian Vocation is foundational to the educational program of Messiah College-Philadelphia Campus. Such formation strives to nurture mature and reflective faith that is expressed through active discipleship. Requiring both individual initiative and communal support, spiritual formation at Messiah College-Philadelphia Campus takes place in classes, small groups, and through worship and service with local churches.

Christian Vocation is primarily expressed through and from within the local Church. Thus, the Church itself is a lifelong learning community seeking to be continually converted and conformed to the image of Christ. Rather than replicate and supplant the local Church through chapel or fellowship programming, Messiah College-Philadelphia Campus partners with local congregations as a central part of the education and spiritual formation of its scholar-learners.
