Plan a campus visit or tour
Everyone is welcome to visit. You may want to take a campus tour, which takes about one hour, or plan to stay on-campus for the weekend. All visits can be arranged with the MCPC Recruitment Coordinator at (215) 769-2526 ext. 7585.
Plan a class trip
Philadelphia is full of educational opportunities that relate specifically to course material. Use MCPC as a resource to contextualize classroom learning and plan a field trip. Ideas include National Constitution Center, Art Sanctuary at Church of the Advocate, Mutter Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art, The African American Museum, community engagement projects throughout the city, or any course-specific opportunities in Philadelphia.

These weekend excursions from Grantham to MCPC are a great way for Messiah College students to get a taste for what a semester at MCPC could be like for them.
Students visiting fellow MCPC students are responsible for making their own arrangements.All student guests must have a host MCPC student and a student room to stay in. MCPC students must register guests with their RA. MCPC values the Messiah College Community Covenant and expects students to keep it while visiting. Students are welcome to use our Campus Services.
MCPC has two parking lot spaces for Messiah College Fleet vehicles and faculty/staff, depending on availability. All other visitors must arrange their own parking. Parking on Broad St. is the best option for weekend guests.
Be wise when parking your vehicle. Look for a well-lit spot. Read all signs carefully and look specifically for time limits. Do not leave valuables or visible objects in the car.
Once in the city, public transportation is the best way to get around.
