Maps and Directions to and from the Messiah College- Philadelphia Campus Getting Around Public Transportation in Philadelphia One can travel and tour the city of Philadelphia using a wide variety of transportation options. Among the most popular are the public transportation services provided by the Southeastern Pennslyvania Transportation Authority, or SEPTA. The "C" bus runs north and south on Broad St. Closest Stops
Tokens may be purchased in packages of five ($6.50/pack) from the Philadelphia Campus receptionist during office hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) For infrequent use, single tokens (at $1.30/token) work well. Day Passes and Weekly Trans Passes are also avialable depending on travel needs. Tokens may also be purchased on the bus or at the nearest subway stop (Cecil B. Moore/Temple University Station.) Helpful Hints Subway service stops at midnight each day. Taxis and buses run continuously. Subways run underground in the same direction as traffic above ground. |
