On April 16, 2025, the Messiah University Board of Trustees announced that it had named Jon C. Stuckey, Ph.D., as interim president of the University, effective July 1, 2025. Dr. Stuckey, who has served at Messiah for 25 years, most recently as Messiah’s vice president for advancement, will lead the university until a permanent president is appointed. Interim President Stuckey succeeds President Kim S. Phipps, Ph.D., who retired at the end of the 2024-25 academic year.
