Students
The Harrisburg Institute provides many opportunities for students to become a part of the city of Harrisburg. Frequently, the Harrisburg Institute offers jobs and internships to students to work with various community partners. But the main way students are involved with the Harrisburg Institute is through the Serving and Living Together (SALT) program. The SALT residential program is a living-learning environment that engages students in experiences that address human and community needs together in Harrisburg with opportunities for reflection.
The SALT Program engages students in the following areas:
