Messiah College’s Harrisburg Institute works in close collaboration with various departments on campus. Specifically the Agape Center for Service and Learning, the Ernest L. Boyer Center and the Harrisburg Institute compose the College’s local community engagement unit.
Established in 2002 , the work delivered out of Messiah College’s Harrisburg location continues to evolve. Housed in the School of Education and Social Sciences, the Harrisburg Institute delivers a number of programs for Messiah students and community organizations. Click here for current Projects. All programs work to bring the resources of Messiah College into partnership with community individuals and organizations in order to enhance the capacity to deliver effective services in a reciprocal manner.
