The new Jordan Science Center and the renovated Kline Hall of Science offer modern teaching laboratories and research-quality technology and equipment.
In addition to general biology and chemistry labs, new foods, nutrition science, dissection, molecular biology, physiology, and environmental science labs have been added. During your studies at Messiah, you'll have opportunity to gain firsthand experience using scanning and transmission electron microscopes, an HPLC, NMR, and other sophisticated equipment. The Science Center also houses
The Oakes Museum. Intended to enhance educational opportunities for both our students and the surrounding community, the museum features world-class quality mounts of African and North American mammals and the largest oological (egg) collection in Pennsylvania.
With woodlands, fields, and the well-known Yellow Breeches Creek, our
beautiful 300-acre campus also serves as a laboratory for studies in the natural sciences. These settings provide further opportunities for students and faculty to conduct on-site research projects.
Kline Hall of Science, built in 1969, houses the School's
Department of Nursing, as well as classrooms, science and nursing labs, faculty offices, computer laboratories and the greenhouse.

Our Starry Athletic Complex features an eight-lane, all-weather metric track; a soccer field; a baseball diamond; an artificial turf field hockey and lacrosse field; a softball field; and four all-weather, lighted tennis courts.
We also have additional recreational fields for intramural activities, a fitness trail, and a high ropes course. Indoors, the Sollenberger Sports Center and Eisenhower Campus Center house the following: six basketball courts, four racquetball courts, an indoor jogging track, a natatorium with an eight-lane pool and separate diving well, a multipurpose activities room, a modern weight-training room, a fully equipped athletic training area, and a human performance laboratory.
